He takes pride in his work as a self-employed carpenter and repair man. He has also served as an active leader in his church community for many years. When his eldest son, Darin, died of cancer in 2017, he took his experience to make a positive impact for others. He has worked countless hours to help create Camp Haven, a summer camp for young children that have lost parents or guardians. Whether he was watching the game from the hospital, sitting in GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium or attending Super Bowl LV in Tampa, he’s enjoyed bringing his family together to create a new generation of Chiefs fans.
