The Philadelphia Eagles recently defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX, dominating the defending champions. Philadelphia finished the season with an 18-3 record, defeating the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, Washington Commanders and Kansas City Chiefs in the postseason. After a dominant performance in the Super Bowl, the NFL issued a pair of fines to Eagles stars Milton Williams and Jalyx Hunt.
While the two received their punishment for actions made in the Super Bowl, defensive tackle Jalen Carter avoided a penalty, per Tom Pelissero. Carter was involved in a play that ended with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffering a sack-fumble by Carter. During the play, Carter struck Mahomes in the face mask.
