NEW YORK YANKEES star Eric Reyzelman was rushed to the hospital after suffering an allergic reaction before training.
The 23-year-old suffered the reaction on Wednesday morning before the pitchers and catchers’ first workout.

Reyzelman’s reaction was so severe that he was rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital and kept overnight for additional observation.
Thankfully, the relief prospect was in a stable condition just hours after the premature ending of his first big league camp.
And doctors discharged the prospect late on Thursday night.
Yankees head coach Aaron Boone was relieved with Reyzelman’s leaving of the hospital.
And he revealed the pitcher was in “good spirits” after the brief scare.
Reyzelman revealed his reaction was caused by his ingestion of something with peanuts in it.
Recalling his trip to the hospital, he revealed to Newsday that “oxygen and was able to get it [the reaction] resolved.”
Reyzelman was quick to praise the Yankees’ training ground staff for the speed with which they reacted to his medical emergency.

The non-roster invitee said: “[I’m] very grateful.
“They took really, really good care of me.”

Reyzelman should soon be cleared to resume training and his bid to break into the team.
He’ll be eager to secure one of two potential bullpen spots, especially after missing nearly all of the 2023 season with a debilitating back injury.
The 2025 MLB season gets underway on March 18 with a two-game series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs, which takes place in Tokyo, Japan.
The remainder of the regular season commences from March 27 until September 28.
