Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift’s Post-Super Bowl Plans Revealed

The Kansas City Chiefs came up short in Super Bowl 59 against the Philadelphia Eagles, suffering a 40-22 defeat. Fans of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been keeping tabs on the couple in the wake of this outcome, and it sounds like they have come up with a plan for what the next few months will look like for them. It’s been a whirlwind year for both Kelce and Swift. Kelce helped lead the Chiefs to the Super Bowl for the third straight year, while Swift wrapped up her long-running “Eras Tour.” Both of them would have loved for Kansas City to win, but they did not deliver the goods against Philadelphia, with Kelce bluntly assessing their play after the loss.

“Couldn’t get it going offensively. I mean, they just got after us on all three phases. And then on top of that, you know, turnovers, penalties, playing behind the sticks on offense. Not taking advantage of the play call. You don’t lose like that without everything going bad. We haven’t played that bad all year,” Kelce said. Whether it was this defeat for Kelce, or Swift getting booed by fans at the Superdome when she appeared on the jumbotron, this wasn’t a great night for the power couple. With this loss in the books, reports have emerged suggesting that Kelce and Swift are going to take a break from the spotlight together.

A source tells PEOPLE that the high-profile couple will ‘have a break together’ following the Kansas City Chiefs’ 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 9 in New Orleans, which ‘was upsetting for everyone.'” “‘Their lives have been a whirlwind since they first started dating,’ the insider says. ‘Things seem great between them, and they’re incredibly happy together,'” Rachel DeSantis of PEOPLE reported.

Given how busy both Kelce and Swift have been over the past few months, spending some time together behind the scenes should prove beneficial for them. Soon enough, though, Kelce will have to make a decision on his football future with rumors of his potential retirement beginning to swirl.
