SPORTS Taylor Swift’s Management Sends Message After Getting Booed at Super Bowl Read more at:

While Taylor Swift’s experience cheering for her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, during last year’s Super Bowl victory inspired new love songs on her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” this season’s championship game might draw out vastly different tunes. Before the Philadelphia Eagles dismantled Chiefs 40-22 in the Super Bowl on Feb. 9, Fox’s TV cameras showed Swift on the Jumbotron at the Superdome, during which then predominately Eagles fan-filled stadium booed the pop star.

The Pennsylvania-born songwriter and her father, Scott Swift, were Eagles fans before she started dating Kelce. Swift even sang about an “Eagles T-shirt hanging from the door,” in her 2020 song, “Gold Rush.” However, falling in love with the guy on the Chiefs made it easy to switch teams. Like of all Chiefs Kingdom, watching Kelce and Co. fail to get anything going against the Eagles didn’t make for a fun evening.

However, Taylor Nation, the singer’s management company, made sure the singer felt the love and support from her fans the following day. They posted Feb. 10, “Our reaction when we found out our beloved #TSTheErasTour is being honored as the Tour of the Century at #iHeartAwards! It’s double day for fan-voted categories, so vote for The Chairman now!” Our reaction when we found out our beloved #TSTheErasTour is being honored as the Tour of the Century at #iHeartAwards! — Taylor Nation (@taylornation13) February 10, 2025 One fan replied on Threads, “I wish this was open internationally. Please let the chairman know how loved she is.” Another person wrote, “We love you Taylor these stupid people on game who boos you are nothing.” The “Eras Tour,” which wrapped in December after nearly a year and a half on the road, became the first tour in history to gross over $2 billion in ticket stales. Swift earned 10 nominations for the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, tying with Morgan Wallen for the most nods this year.

Due to the unprecedented success of the “Eras Tour,” Swift will also be the recipient of a new award called Tour of the Century. The iHeartMusic Radio Awards take place on March 17 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Hopefully, Swift attends and brings Kelce as her plus-one.
