Micah Parsons Fires Back: “Put Some Respect on Dak Prescott’s Name!”
Cowboys Nation, it’s time to set the record straight. Micah Parsons isn’t having any more of the disrespect. And frankly, neither should we.
Sunday night in Philadelphia, under the bright lights, the Dallas Cowboys fought with everything they had. It was a slugfest, a battle between two NFC giants. A game that came down to the wire. A game where our quarterback left his soul on that field.
Dak Prescott played like a man possessed. He willed his team back from the brink, orchestrating clutch drive after clutch drive, moving with confidence, standing tall against the pressure, and delivering absolute dimes when his team needed him most. He was on fire.
But fate had other plans.
Two gut-wrenching moments—one touchdown ruled out, one two-point conversion negated—turned what should have been a heroic victory into a heartbreaking defeat. And yet, through it all, Dak never wavered. He kept slinging. Kept leading. Kept proving why he is the heart and soul of this franchise.
And Micah Parsons? He saw all of it.
“Dak’s a freaking warrior,” Parsons declared, voice full of fire. “There were multiple times I was like, ‘That’s Dak Motherf–king Prescott, bro.’ He’s a dog. He’s a warrior. I got an unbelievable amount of confidence in him… I think people need to put more respect on him. He outplayed everyone today.”
And he’s right.
On paper, Dak cooked. He outdueled Jalen Hurts, throwing for 374 yards, three touchdowns, completing 29 of 44 passes. He stood in the pocket, faced the storm, and delivered. Meanwhile, Hurts? Just 207 passing yards. He made plays, sure—but nobody, NOBODY, outplayed Dak Prescott that night.
So why is Dak still fighting for respect? Why does the media always look for ways to diminish what he does?
Micah sees it. The locker room sees it. Cowboys fans see it. And the Cowboys themselves? They’re not backing down.
This team isn’t sulking after this loss. They walked out of that stadium with more belief, more fire, and more confidence than ever.
Dak said it himself—they’re doing the right things, they’re close, and they’ll find a way.
Parsons echoed that energy, sending a message loud and clear:
“We’ve got even more confidence now. Everybody was counting us out, hyping up this Eagles team. We gave them their best shot. I’m not even gonna spit fuel in the fire… but we’ll see them again in four weeks.”
You hear that, Philly? We’re coming back.
Next up? The Giants. The Cowboys will bounce back. They will make a statement. And Dak Prescott?
He’s still that dude. He’s always been. And as Micah Parsons said—it’s time for the world to start giving him the respect he deserves.
How ‘bout them Cowboys?!
