The stars showed out for the Super Bowl LIX red carpet on Sunday. Olivia Culpo, the wife of San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, was tapped by FOX Sports to host the pregame show, which has the former Miss Universe returning to the big game, albeit in a different capacity.
Culpo was in attendance at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII last year as she cheered on McCaffrey and the Niners. San Francisco, however, came up short against the Kansas City Chiefs, who secured their second straight Super Bowl title.
The Chiefs are now aiming to make history on Sunday night by defeating the Philadelphia Eagles, en route to a potential unprecedented three-peat.
Before the big game, however, the arrival of the celebrities for arguably the biggest sporting event of the year was promptly documented on the red carpet. Culpo took to Instagram to share some photos from the pregame festivities via her Instagram.
“It’s showtime – tune into the first ever Super Bowl red carpet LIVE right now on @tubi,” she captioned her post.
Culpo’s post included a close look at her all-black ensemble for the event. She wore an oversized blazer that gave off a strong power-suit vibe. Underneath it was a high-neck turtleneck top, which the beauty queen paired with short shorts that were concealed underneath the blazer. For her shoes, the 32-year-old model/actress went with pointed-toe heels that had a gold detail at the tip.
Culpo’s black leather gloves and oversized dark sunglasses added a dramatic effect to her avante-garde meets sporty ensemble.
The prominent NFL WAG (wives and girlfriends) stole the spotlight with her outfit as the folks on social media heaped praise on her stunning look.
