Atlanta Braves news and notes from Saturday
Well we are so close that you can almost smell the start of baseball, as pitchers and catchers report on February 12th, otherwise known as THIS WEDNESDAY! I know we are all excited to see the sport we love return to even preseason. Unfortunately, pitchers and catchers reporting tends to be more of a symbolic than practical return of the sport, as not much public-facing happens until spring training games ramp up. Here is your annual friendly reminder not to read into who arrives when (as long as they are on time) and to take the “best shape of his life” reports with a healthy grain of salt. Happy baseball season, folks!
