Former Indiana Hoosier, Peyton Hendershot Puts Dallas Cowboys on Blast

Former Cowboys tight end Peyton Hendershot, now with the Kansas City Chiefs had a lot to say during this year’s media week at the Super Bowl about his former team Dallas.

This is throwing no strays…but I just feel like when I came to Kansas City…my first experience in the NFL was the Cowboys, that’s all I knew,”Hendershot sincerely stated.“I just feel like here it is strictly football and winning. Nothing else but just football and winning.”  via Radio Row with R.J. Ochoa of Blogging The Boys.

The Dallas Cowboys aka “America’s Team” hasn’t made it to the NFC Championship Game since their last Super Bowl victory in 1995.

Former Cowboys TE Peyton Hendershot rips Jerry Jones over handling of CeeDee Lamb’s contract

“”You just think about CeeDee Lamb and how much he does for our offense and what fall camp does for you and your season, and CeeDee wasn’t at one of those,” said Hendershot. “That’s Dak’s number one target. If he’s not getting reps with his top target, how are you gonna go into the season and perform how you want to perform?”

“When you have a player of that magnitude like CeeDee, you want to take care of that. You want to get that solved so him and Dak get their connection going. That makes everyone else’s job easier.””
