Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is closer to the end of his career than he is the start, and the future Hall of Famer is eyeing a fourth Super Bowl ring to further stamp his authority as one of the greatest tight ends the game has ever seen. But at the ripe old age of 35, many don’t think that Kelce has that much juice left in the tank and that if the Chiefs do claim the Super Bowl, he might hang up the cleats and ride off into the sunset.
Does Travis feel like he’s nearing the end? “I got a full heart of football left in me,” Kelce said. “I really love this game, and I think throughout the year it can get pretty tough, but it’s moments like these, the playoffs, these memories that I’ll have with the teammates and coaches that I go to war with and wanting to keep that legacy or keep finding new ways to create those memories. I think, I don’t know just keep fueling me and my love for football.” In truth, a three-peat would be nearly the perfect way for Kelce to go out and then the next chapter of his life can begin with Taylor Swift.

Either way, Travis’ love for football and his teammates will keep spurring him on to great heights, and who knows, maybe this Super Bowl win would be the ideal way for him to bring down the curtain on a glorious NFL career.
