Where Red Sox’s Jarren Duran Landed In MLB Network Ranking

Jarren Duran established his stardom for the Boston Red Sox in 2024 as one of baseball’s most dynamic players.

MLB Network recognized that rise Wednesday night when ranking the top 10 left fielders in baseball. Duran, who played left and centerfield for durations of last season, came in at the No. 2 slot on the list. Only Houston Astros slugger Álvarez ranked higher than the Red Sox star on the list.

The Red Sox outfielder finished in the top 10 of American League MVP voting and earned All-Star Game MVP honors for a clutch home run in the victory. He slugged 21 homers in the regular season and torched teams with his speed on both sides of the ball.

Duran leads Boston into a consequential 2025 with hopes of improving his stock and delivering the Red Sox to the playoffs for the first time since 2021.
