TRADE BREAKING: Dodgers Predicted To Steal $11.5 Million Postseason Hero From Yankees

The Los Angeles Dodgers have done nothing but improve this offseason. After dominating their way to a World Series in 2024, they’ve jumped out as clear favorites to win the title again in 2025.

Recently, Los Angeles has turned its attention to adding to the bullpen.

First, the Dodgers added star closer Tanner Scott on a massive contract. Now, they’ve agreed to terms on a deal with closer Kirby Yates. And they’re likely not done adding to the bullpen.

Joseph Kallen of FanSided recently predicted the Dodgers would pluck Tommy Kahnle from the New York Yankees to finish adding to their loaded bullpen. “After watching the crosstown Mets pilfer Juan Soto and Clay Holmes from the Yankees, the Dodgers could make a savvy bullpen upgrade by signing Tommy Kahnle,” Kallen wrote. ”

The 34-year-old reliever was a vital piece of the Yankees’ bullpen in 2024, posting a stellar 2.11 ERA over 50 appearances and demonstrating remarkable consistency. ”

Kahnle’s 16.1-inning scoreless streak during the season and his dominance in the postseason, including a historic 56 straight changeups in one outing, underscore his reliability under pressure.

With a 2.08 ERA, seven strikeouts, and one save in limited postseason innings, Kahnle would fit seamlessly into the Dodgers’ already elite bullpen.” Kahnle spent a year with the Dodgers in 2022 and Los Angeles could look to bring him back on a short, affordable deal.

The righty was excellent last season.

He would be another huge addition to the Dodgers’ bullpen. The Yankees will likely pursue him aggressively as well, but it’s tough to blame anybody for wanting to join the powerhouse Dodgers.
