Bruce Kittle, a former college football player and coach, has been instrumental in shaping his son’s career.
As an offensive lineman for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes, he served as co-captain of the 1981 Big Ten Championship team and later played in the 1982 Rose Bowl despite suffering a midseason knee injury.
According to The Athletic, Bruce Kittle went on to coach football at the University of Oklahoma and his alma mater, Iowa.
