Will Ferrell Gives Travis Kelce a Hilarious Reality Check Over Viral Celebration Read more at:

Emmy winner Will Ferrell was a recent guest on Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast, and as expected, the episode delivered lots of laughs. During one instance, Ferrell even hilariously called out the Kansas City Chiefs star tight end’s celly in Week 17’s Christmas Day game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.

It can be recalled that Travis scored a touchdown in that Steelers game, thus breaking the Chiefs’ franchise touchdown record previously held by Kansas City legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer tight end Tony Gonzalez. As a homage to Gonzalez, Kelce tried to dunk the ball over the uprights, which Ferell made sure to discuss during his guesting on the podcast.

“I gotta bring something up,” Ferrell opened up. “I happened to be watching, during the holiday break, the Pittsburgh game. When you scored, you went to go dunk the football, you missed the dunk,” Ferrell continued.

Travis agreed with Ferrell’s statement. “I did not dunk it. I did not dunk it,” Travis responded. Ferrell then said that after he saw Travis’ dunk attempt, he thought “he [Travis] doesn’t have the same hops.” Travis did not try to contest Ferrell’s observation either. “I don’t. I don’t have the ups anymore. I used to,” the three-time Super Bowl champion said. Dunking is harder than it looks, okay pic.twitter.com/mjFZ1wCGxh — New Heights (@newheightshow) January 10, 2025 Travis stands 6-foot-5 but he is also already 35 years old, so there’s certainly some decline in explosiveness for the 10-time Pro Bowler. Nevertheless, Travis now has the Chiefs’ all-time touchdown record, as he now has 77 career touchdowns in his NFL career. Travis was taken in the third round of the 2013 NFL draft by the Chiefs and has not played for another team since.
