Kansas City Cheerleader Turned Heads Over Pro Bowl News During Chiefs-Texans

Last season, the Kansas City Chiefs sent five representatives to the 2024 Pro Bowl Games. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce led the way, with teammates Joe Thuney, Chris Jones, and Creed Humphrey joining them.

It appears that the 14-1 Chiefs will have a strong contingent yet again for this season’s Pro Bowl festivities amid another incredible campaign. At this point, the two-time defending champs are looking like a good bet for what could potentially be an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat.

While the list of players on the 2025 Pro Bowl Games has not yet been announced, the Chiefs revealed on Saturday during their game against the Houston Texans that they have already selected the cheerleader who will represent the team in Orlando.

Katie Lomshek, a fifth-year veteran of the Chiefs cheer squad, was selected out of the 34 members of the team. While the selection process was not revealed, the Chiefs did describe Katie as “the most organized, reliable, and hardworking person you’ll meet,” which likely played a role in all this.

The big news turned more than a few heads on social media.

“Congratulations!!! Making KC proud!❤️💛” a comment wrote.

“So proud and so deserving! 🙌” said another.

“🥹🥹😍😍👏🏽👏🏽 SO well deserved sweet Katie!!!! LOVE YOU @katielomshek 👑” wrote lifestyle anchor Jillian Carroll.

“YAY KATIE!!!!!❤️” reacted a fan.

“So deserving!! Congrats Katie!! ♥️” wrote another.

“OMG GO KATIE GO!!!!❤️❤️❤️” a user reacted.

Kaite will now be heading to Orlando for the Games on Feb. 3.

As for Saturday’s contest, the girls had a lot to cheer for as the Chiefs secured a 27-19 victory against the Texans. This was also the last home game of the regular season for the Chiefs as they gear up for what they’re hoping will be another deep playoff run.
