Established in 1871 as the Boston Red Stockings, the team has had a long and storied history, moving to Milwaukee in 1953 before finally settling in Atlanta in 1966. The Braves are a member of the National League (NL) East division in Major League Baseball (MLB).

Throughout their history, the Braves have won four World Series championships (1914, 1957, 1995 and 2021) and have captured numerous division titles. The team’s colours are navy blue, red, and white, with a distinctive logo featuring a tomahawk, a traditional Native American tool and weapon.

The Braves play their home games at Truist Park, an open-air ballpark located in the Cumberland neighbourhood of Atlanta, which opened in 2017. The stadium is known for its modern amenities, unique features, and vibrant atmosphere.
