Earlier this week the Kansas City Chiefs locked up the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoff race with a dominant 29-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was the team’s third game in just 11 days, which sparked plenty of frustration amongst the players. Star tight end Travis Kelce wasn’t too mad, though, as he set a new Chiefs franchise record for career touchdowns with 77, passing the legendary Tony Gonzalez.

With the win, some extra time off before next weekend’s game against the Denver Broncos and the No. 1 seed locked up, the Chiefs were given time off to celebrate. Kelce wasted no time booking a flight to New York to spend time with girlfriend Taylor Swift.

On Friday night the couple was spotted out in the city enjoying dinner with Jack Antonoff and actress Margaret Qualley. Just 24 hours later, the couple was back out in the city, but this time with Swift’s good friend Ashley Avignone. Video of the trio leaving the restaurant hit social media and immediately sparked reaction.

Gotta protect his lady and her lady friends!” one fan said.

“The way he went down the stairs slowly this time so Tay wouldn’t trip>>>” added another. “him waiting for queen ashley to enter the car first oh travis you just won yourself 50 points,” offered another. “Travis holding the door for Ashley,” added another.

Kelce will get another day off before returning to Chiefs practice on Monday. The team will make its final decision on whether or not to rest its starters in the game against Denver with the No. 1 seed already locked up.
