As the 2024 MLB season nears conclusion, Atlanta Braves star Ronald Acuna Jr. and his younger brother, Luisangel Acuna, are enjoying the postseason. On Friday, the pair were pictured hanging out with Puerto Rican music sensation Jay Wheeler.

One of the brightest up-and-coming talents in the Latin music scene, Wheeler boasts a massive following on his social media profiles, with over 7.4 million followers on Instagram, where he usually posts content related to his music for fans to enjoy.

After October 24’s show in Atlanta, Wheeler posted a series of images of the fun-filled night, which also featured snaps of him with the baseball-playing brothers.

Ronald Acuna Jr. gave the musician a signed version of his famous number 13 jersey, with a special written message. Wheeler returned the favor with a signed hat for the Braves.

After the success of past albums such as ‘Platonicos’ and ‘Emociones’, Wheeler’s latest album ‘Música Buena Para Días Malos’ was released on April 25, 2024.

2025 promises to be a big season for both Ronald Acuna Jr. and Luisangel

The 2024 was a season of contrasting fates for the Acuna brothers. For Ronald Acuna Jr., the season was a huge disappointment, as the 2023 NL MVP winner’s season ended prematurely after he sustained a knee injury in May.

For Luisangel Acuna, however, the past season was the biggest of his promising career. The 22-year-old made the jump up to major league level with the New York Mets and showcased composure at the biggest stage in both offensive and defensive situations.

For 2025, both brothers will be eyeing a big season. For Ronald Acuna Jr., a hugely anticipated return to the diamond inches ever closer and it remains to be seen if there will be a layer of caution over his otherwise all-action style of play following his injury setback.

As for Luisangel, he will be looking to build on the strong foundations set in 2024 and potentially become a regular part of Mets skipper Carlos Mendoza’s day-to-day team. Fans of their respective sides will be hoping two of the major league’s most exciting young players can stay injury free in the upcoming campaign.
