The Kansas City Chiefs made multiple tweaks to their roster ahead of their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. They activated tight end Peyton Hendershot from injured reserve, who missed multiple weeks with a calf injury. That gives the Chiefs’ tight end room a boost a week after their wide receiver room got a little push with Hollywood Brown’s return.

They elevated safety Deon Bush and linebacker Swayze Bozeman for the game as well. The team needs some depth for special teams positions as well as some injuries that have hit the secondary.

Bush will help bolster a secondary that is dealing with injuries, including to starting nickel cornerback Chamarri Conner, who is out with a concussion. The veteran safety has been around the NFL and is a dependable option.

Meanwhile, Bozeman was an undrafted free agent out of Southern Mississippi this season, and made the Chiefs’ practice squad. This will be his second NFL game after he was elevated in Week 14 for the team’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
