After the Buffalo Bills defeated the New England Patriots 24-21 in Week 16, they move to 12-3 on the season with their hopes of catching the No. 1 seed still intact. If the Bills win their final two games of the season and the Kansas City Chiefs (14-1) lose their final two games, Buffalo usurps the top spot in the AFC since they defeated Kansas City earlier in the season.
However, if the Chiefs defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 17, they will officially clinch the No. 1 seed. With the Chiefs-Steelers showdown taking place on Christmas Day, the Bills will know where they stand before facing the New York Jets on Sunday. While Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Co. will keep a close eye on the Chiefs-Steelers game on Wednesday, the team celebrated their annual Christmas party on Monday night.
This year’s bash, hosted by Alexis Jones, wife of Bills defensive tackle DaQuan Jones, and Alexandra Knox, tight end Dawson Knox’s wife, looked incredibly festive based on photos shared on social media. In Alexis’ post on Instagram, she included several photos of Hailee Steinfeld, who’s engaged to Allen, and the Oscar-nominated actor’s coat reminded fans of another famous WAG, Taylor Swift.
Just a few days earlier, Swift cheered for her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, as Kansas City defeated the Houston Texans 27-19. While arriving to the game at Arrowhead Stadium, her red faux-fur jacket immediately turned heads. With temperatures dropping to 32-degrees in Kansas City, the 35-year-old pop star chose to stay warm in a Charlotte Simone Lulu Red Afghan Coat ($512). | TAYLOR AT THE CHIEFS GAME! pic.twitter.com/Ou6DyJM5rm — Taylor Swift Updates (@TSUpdating) December 21, 2024 Hailee and Swift are no strangers, as Allen’s fiancée appeared in the 14-time Grammy winner’s star-studded “Bad Blood” music video in 2015.
“I think people think we spend a lot more time together than we actually do!” Steinfeld told Seventeen while reflecting on the experience in 2016. “She’s amazing, though.” While they may be cheering for AFC rivals, Steinfeld remains a huge fan of Swift. The 28-year-old told People last year, “I’m literally chasing the dates of her Eras Tour trying to figure out when I can make it.”
