Speaking with Taylor McGregor of Marquee Sports Network after the win, Crow-Armstrong said, “I couldn’t have asked anything more from a group of guys. I appreciate being at the field every day, and I’m so grateful to play for this crowd, as is everybody else in here. This is about as fun as it gets.
#Cubs walk it off for the 3rd straight night. PCA had game-tying 2-run HR in the 9th.

The Cubs have won the first three games against the Reds, running that Wrigley Field home winning streak to an insane 14 games. All three wins came via walk-off, the first time Chicago has done that since 2009, per Sarah Langs of MLB.com. The Reds were 7-0 in one-run games. Now, they have lost four in a row, dating back to Sunday’s loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The Cubs will go for the sweep of the Reds on Thursday afternoon at Wrigley Field. Rhett Lowder takes the mound for Cincy, trying to flush his brutal start against the Pirates last week. He allowed eight earned runs in 1.1 innings his last time out. The Cubs will have Shota Imanaga on the mound, nursing a great 2.40 ERA.

Crow-Armstrong got off to a dreadful start to the season, but has turned it around quickly. In the first 22 games of the season, the Cubs’ centerfielder was hitting .214 with a .572 OPS. In the last 15 games, which coincides with a lot of Cubs wins, Crow-Armstrong has a .296/.367/.537 slash line, yielding a .904 OPS.
The Cubs will try to finish off the Reds and win their 15th straight game at the Friendly Confines. According to Langs, the franchise record for home win streak is 18, set in 1935.
The Chicago Cubs beat the Cincinnati Reds 7-6 on Wednesday, winning their 14th consecutive game at home. Pete Crow-Armstrong hit the game-tying homer in the bottom of the ninth before the Cubs won it with a 10th-inning walk. After the game, the centerfielder was having a great time celebrating at Wrigley Field. PETE HENRY CROW-ARMSTRONG.
