On Thursday evening, the New York Yankees will play the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park for the final game of their series.

They have won each of the first two games (most recently winning by a score of 4-1 on Wednesday).

Cody Bellinger finished with one strikeout in four at-bats.

Before Thursday’s game, the Yankees have announced their starting lineup.

Bellinger will not be in the lineup against the Red Sox for the series finale.

He is currently batting .265 with 22 hits, three home runs, 11 RBI’s, 16 runs and three stolen bases in 23 games.

Bellinger’s MLB Career

Bellinger was picked in the fourth round of the 2013 MLB Draft.

He spent the first six years of his career playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers, winning the MVP in 2019 (and a World Series Championship in 2020).

The 30-year-old then had a two-year stint with the Chicago Cubs before joining the Yankees.

Over 1,180 career games, Bellinger is batting .261 with 228 home runs, 706 RBI’s, 706 runs and 107 stolen bases.

The Yankees are the first-place team in the American League East with a 15-9 record in 24 games.
