There was virtually no news surrounding the Atlanta Braves on Friday. It appears the next big deadline comes on January 10th, when players and teams exchange arbitration figures. For now, though, we’ve got a season review and some thoughts following the Winter Meetings.

The Pittsburgh Pirates hired Miguel Perez as their next bullpen coach after the club parted ways with Justin Meccage.
The Chicago Cubs signed catcher Carson Kelly to a two-year, $11.5M contract. With incentives, he is eligible to earn another annual $500K.
The Toronto Blue Jays signed right-hander Yimi Garcia to a two-year, $15M deal.
The Houston Astros dealt outfielder Kyle Tucker to the Chicago Cubs in exchange for infielder Isaac Paredes, RHP Hayden Wesneski, and a prospect.
The New York Yankees acquired closer Devin Williams from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for Nestor Cortes, Caleb Durbin, and $2M cash.
