Kylie Kelce has faced massive criticism for her recent podcast rant about the questions she and her family keep getting about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s upcoming wedding. Kylie, 34, who is married to former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce, took aim at those who continue to pepper her and her loved ones with questions about the affair between the Chiefs star, 36, and the Fate of Ophelia singer, 36.
Now, the podcaster is in hot water following her recent rant, where she specifically slammed media outlets for their questions. Speaking out on an episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast, she slammed the endless questions that have been lobbed towards them.
“I just want to say to literally everybody, I know it usually comes from a good place, not always, but quit asking my mother-in-law and me about upcoming nuptials. Nobody is f—ing telling you anything. I don’t have any details.” She then took issue with TMZ in particular for approaching Donna Kelce, before saying she would adopt a costume that told everyone to “suck her a–.”
It comes after a lip reader revealed Taylor’s 4-word comeback during her private conversation with a fellow star.
• Travis Kelce’s 10-word reason for refusing to sign autograph for young Chiefs fan
• Taylor Swift fans fume at Travis Kelce’s ‘angry’ behavior on the sidelines at Chiefs game
“Stop f—ing asking my mother-in-law, TMZ. F–ing being creeps in the f—ing airport. Ew. Here’s the thing: even if I did have any information, I’m not f–ing telling you. That’s private information between family. A and B, see your way out. My new answer: ‘Suck my a–. I’m gonna get a headband with LED lights, and it’s gonna say, ‘Suck my a–,’ and I’m just gonna have a little button, and it’s gonna turn on the second someone asks about it.”
However, Kylie’s rant wasn’t well-received online after the fact, with many calling out that she only had a podcast because of her proximity to the couple and only got a platform because of them.
“Kylie Kelce telling people to stop asking her about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding on the podcast she started for the sole purpose of monetizing her relationship/proximity to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce,” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
“No one would listen to her if Travis wasn’t marrying Taylor; no one was begging for Kylie content before,” another said.
“New Heights was an average podcast. Sort of amateurish. It didn’t get popular until Travis started dating Taylor. Kylie used that to leverage her own podcast. The only reason anyone listens to Kylie is Taylor Swift. The ego here is incredible,” a third added.
“Taylor Swift is the only reason any of the Kelce podcasts got popular,” a fourth shared. “Swifties, who would kill their own grandmothers for more T Swift content, tuned in hoping to (find) snippets. Nobody else listens to them.”
“I mean, come on, the only reason she is behind a mic is cuz of that relationship,” a fifth fumed.
Kylie notably launched her podcast in November 2024, just over a year after Swift and Kelce’s relationship was exposed, following the singer’s attendance at Chiefs games.
As for the wedding, Swift and Kelce are heavily rumored to be tying the knot in Rhode Island on June 13, but no details have been confirmed.
