🚨 JORDAN LOVE CHALLENGES MICAH PARSONS: Charity Softball Game Turns Into Battle of Offense vs. Defense 👇
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is bringing the heat as he prepares for this year’s highly anticipated Green Bay Charity Softball Game, and he’s throwing down the gauntlet for his new teammate, Micah Parsons.

During a media session to promote the event, Love couldn’t resist sending a playful jab at Parsons, the superstar linebacker acquired from the Dallas Cowboys last August. “I say Micah, you’re going down,” Love quipped. “I know we’re teammates now, but on June 5 we are definitely going to be opponents and defense is going down man. Offense is going to be coming home with this belt right here.”
Love will be leading the offense in the annual charity game, which will take place at Neuroscience Group Field in Grand Chute on June 5. Parsons, who has been named co-host of the event, will lead the defense. Despite Parsons recovering from a torn ACL and unlikely to play in the game, Love is excited to have his new teammate onboard.
“I think he’ll be a great addition,” Love said. “Obviously, we know what type of player Micah is on the football field, a phenomenal player. I don’t know exactly what his status will be playing-wise, but I know he’s a competitor. He’d love to be out there and showcase his softball skills, have fun, talk a little smack during it, and make it a great event.”
Love didn’t stop there, throwing a little more fuel on the fire with another playful shot at the defense. “The defense, you know, they talk a big game, but I don’t think they can back it up,” he said, adding more excitement to the already fun and competitive event.
The charity game will feature a home run derby at 6 p.m. followed by the game at 7:05 p.m. The event will raise money for Love’s Hands of 10ve Foundation and Parsons’ The Lion Heart Foundation. Sponsors for the game include Bergstrom Automotive and Capital Credit Union, with tickets available for purchase through the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers website.
The game will also feature Packers legend and “Dancing with the Stars” champion Donald Driver, who previously hosted the event and will be interacting with fans throughout the night.
For Love, hosting this event is a special honor, especially as he continues the legacy of the charity game that has brought the Packers community together for over two decades. “Wisconsin is the only place that might have a turnout like this for a softball game in June with football players playing in it,” Love said. “It’s just a cool event to be able to interact with the fans and be a little bit more lighthearted than, you know, training camp and game days are for us.”
