He’s a true 56-game starter across his career (124 games played, 56 starts) who has quietly been a quality depth piece for multiple teams: Washington, Atlanta, the Giants, Denver, and now Minnesota.

For Dallas, the timing couldn’t be better. The Cowboys have already invested heavily in the secondary this offseason, signing former Rams corners Cobie Durant and Derion Kendrick, along with safeties Jalen Thompson and P.J. Locke who can slide into the slot. Add in the trade acquisition of EDGE Rashan Gary and nose tackle Otito Ogbonnia, and Parker’s new scheme is starting to take shape with legitimate competition across the board.
