THE BLUEPRINT IS LOCKED IN! A battle-tested VETERAN with a STACKED résumé of MULTIPLE 1,000-yard campaigns is set to transform Buffalo into a LEGIT DYNASTY—this move is a CAN’T-MISS, WIN-WIN etched in the football heavens!

Whether fans want to admit it or not, the Buffalo Bills still need to add another veteran wide receiver prior to the draft where they could still draft a rookie wideout. Luckily, the Bills don’t need to search for their No. 1 receiver as D.J. Moore takes care of that. Buffalo acquired him via trade from the Chicago Bears.

Outside of Moore, the Bills also have Khalil Shakir, Joshua Palmer, Keon Coleman, Tyrell Shavers, Mecole Hardman Jr., Jalen Virgil, and Stephen Gosnall currently on the roster. Buffalo is bound to add another receiver or two this offseason leading up to training camp.

When it comes to Coleman, he has been a huge topic amongst Bills fans, and even the top of the organization as well. After an explosive Week 1 performance against the Ravens last season, Coleman’s sophomore year fell apart as he wasn’t just being unproductive on the field but he was also a healthy scratch a handful of times due to maturity issues.

With the Bills deciding to hire Joe Brady as their head coach, maybe this will benefit Coleman to take a step forward and become a big part of this offense, However, it wouldn’t hurt the Bills to pursue the idea of bringing in a veteran wideout who could mentor Coleman while also being part of a championship team.

Bills have chance for win-win situation with WR DeAndre Hopkins

Currently a free agent, Hopkins is looking for his next team after spending last season with the Baltimore Ravens. At one point, Hopkins was the best wide receiver in the game back when he was with the Houston Texans. He had 1,000+ yard seasons in five of his seven years with the Texans before being shockingly traded to the Arizona Cardinals in 2020.

After his first season in Arizona where he had over 1,400 yards, Hopkins hasn’t necessarily been as productive as he once was. He’s only had one year of over 1,000 yards since 2021 and he has been with the Titans, Chiefs, and Ravens in recent memory.

If Hopkins is looking to keep chasing his first Super Bowl, he should be considering Buffalo as his next stop. He’s already played with Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson, why not consider playing with Josh Allen?

If the Bills were to sign Hopkins on just a simple one-year deal, it would be a win-win for both sides. Buffalo would add a well-experienced veteran who has had a ton of success in this league who could be a mentor for Coleman as he enters a crucial year of his rookie contract. Hopkins would be able to show him the way and help grow both on and off the field.

As for Hopkins, he would get the chance to join a championship contender that has Josh Allen under center. In addition, he wouldn’t have to be the No. 1 or No. 2 target for Allen. Not to mention, Hopkins said at one point that he believes that he and Allen could “do some damage for sure.“

According to Spotrac, Hopkins’ market value is at $1.5 million and the Bills currently have over $13 million in cap space since they decided to not match the offer sheet for Ryan Van Demark. This seems like a clear-as-day idea that the Bills should heavily pursue.
