BREAKING NEWS: Deebo Samuel Sends Blunt Message To Critics

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel hasn’t had the season he had envisioned. After racking up 1,117 total yards and 12 touchdowns last season, the Pro Bowler has managed just 645 yards and two touchdowns this year.

With the 49ers having already lost wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk for the season in October, it’s simply not enough production from a player earning $71.6 million over three years.

Fans have been vocal about their frustration with the sixth-year wideout, especially after he declined to speak with the media following a Week 12 loss to the Green Bay Packers. The criticism only grew louder after another disappointing performance on Sunday against the Chicago Bears, where he managed just seven touches for 35 yards.

Before the NFL world tuned in to watch “Monday Night Football” between the Cincinnati Bengals and Dallas Cowboys, Samuel posted a message on social media.

The former South Carolina Gamecock told fans that his struggles are because he isn’t getting the ball enough.

“Not struggling at all just not getting the ball!!!!!!! ‍♂️,” Samuel wrote.

The 49ers, who reached the Super Bowl last season, face an uphill battle to make the playoffs. Known for their yearly success, the team currently sits at 6-7, largely due to a season plagued by injuries. Key offensive players like Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, Christian McCaffrey, Brock Purdy, George Kittle, Jauan Jennings and others have all missed time.

San Francisco is two games out of the final wild-card spot.

In Week 15, the 49ers will take on the Rams at Levi’s Stadium with a chance to even their record at 7-7. Kickoff for “Thursday Night Football” is set for 8:15 p.m. ET.
