Perry, a standout in college at Wake Forest, was drafted by the Saints in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. What stands out about Perry’s potential is his consistent performance in college — he posted two consecutive 1,500-yard seasons with double-digit touchdowns, showing an ability to dominate at a high level.
Standing 6’3” and weighing 198 pounds, Perry is a big-bodied receiver with excellent speed, running a 4.47-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. His size and speed combination make him a serious deep threat on the field, and Steelers fans are eager to see how he fits into the offense.
Although he was waived by the Saints in 2024, Perry’s journey continued with the Denver Broncos, where he spent time on their practice squad for two seasons without seeing game action.
