America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders star Kelcey Wetterberg is jumping into a new role: mom.

The former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader announced that she and her husband, Nate Crnkovich, are expecting their first baby by sharing a sweet Instagram video of themselves painting the words, “BABY CRNK JULY 2026,” onto a white wall.

“Baby Crnkovich coming soon,” Wetterberg captioned the Jan. 8 post. “you are already so loved & prayed for, little one! 👣.”

At the end of the clip, the pair also shared a kiss before holding up a couple of sonogram photos while cozying up on the floor.

The couple’s big news comes just over a week after they celebrated their first wedding anniversary. And Wetterberg celebrated that occasion with a heartfelt tribute to her husband.

“Happy 1st anniversary to the love of my life 🤍 @natecrnk I am so lucky to live life with you!” Wetterberg wrote on Dec. 31 alongside throwback photos from their nuptials. “This year has been full of love…traveling, buying our first home, and new experiences & challenges that have brought us so much closer. You truly make me the happiest. Love you forever 🫶🏼.”

Crkovish also shared his wife’s carousel to his Instagram Stories at the time and commented on the post, “Happy anniversary baby ❤️.”

Wetterberg married the actor and fellow registered nurse during a “very intimate” ceremony surrounded by their immediate families at a Catholic Church on Dec. 30, 2024. The following day, the pair said “I do” again in a much larger wedding held at the Leo Ballroom in Omaha, Neb., where they both grew up.

“This wedding is a dream come true,” she told PEOPLE at the time. “My wedding day is always something I wondered about as a young girl…but I don’t think I ever could have imagined one as beautiful as this. God couldn’t have given me a better husband!”

The end of Netflix’s hit docuseries previously shared a glimpse at Wetterberg pursuing her career as a pediatric registered nurse and accepting Crnkovich’s proposal after retiring from DCC.

“We knew from the start that it would be a big wedding because both of our families are really big, and we, of course, wanted everyone there!” she explained to PEOPLE. “My main vision was just to simply have all of the people that we loved there with us to celebrate such a big step in our lives. The people were our main priority, and we wanted to make it a fun celebration of love!”

“Marriage to me is about dedicating your life to someone else and two people putting each other’s needs above their own,” she added. “Promising your life to someone in front of God and staying true to that promise is such a beautiful representation of service to the highest degree. It’s such a beautiful thing getting to love and be loved unconditionally.”
