Former Pittsburgh Steelers safety Jack Henderson has been released from the Miami Dolphins, the team announced. Henderson was with the team from October to November, but they moved on from him after getting some players back from injuries.

The Buccaneers released Henderson on September 23rd from their practice squad.
During the preseason, Henderson played both box and free safety, according to Pro Football Focus, playing 29 snaps at free safety and 22 in the box.

His main draw is his athleticism at 6-foot-2, he ran a 4.52 40-yard dash while posting great jumps with a 39.5-inch vertical and 10-foot-8 broad jump.
Henderson was never elevated for a game on the Steelers and will hit the open market once again. He was signed by the team on October 8th after a slew of defensive backs came in for tryouts, and he was the one they decided to sign.
The Steelers waived Henderson after they claimed Sebastian Castro off waivers from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In addition to that, they have multiple safeties on the practice squad in case an injury would pop up.
Either way, Henderson will now try to find a new spot for next offseason and push for a spot on their practice squad or roster.
