Atlanta Braves news and notes from Thursday.

Thanksgiving Day hardly brought any news for the Atlanta Braves and the rest of Major League Baseball. It was reported, though, that the Braves added infielder Jose Devers on a minor league deal.

He’s appeared in just 24 big league games and has spent the last six seasons with the Miami Marlins.

More Braves News:

From Chris Sale’s Cy Young season to Gio Urshela, there is plenty to be thankful for this year.

MLB News:

MLB’s Will Leitch writes up reasons for every MLB team to be thankful.

The Arizona Diamondbacks added Wellington Cepeda to their coaching staff. He will serve as the club’s bullpen coach and assistant pitching coach.

The Toronto Blue Jays have reportedly checked in on Alex Bregman.
