LaFleur may now need to fight to keep his employment.
This is despite leading the franchise to the NFL playoffs for the third season in a row.
NFL Insider Jay Glazer, 56, has argued that LaFleur is under growing pressure.
Glazer placed the Packers coach in the “time will tell” list when discussing potential head coach firings on Fox NFL Sunday.
“You’re talking about Matt LaFleur also,” Glazer said on the Fox show. “Why’s he on the board?
“Matt LaFleur’s job security has been questioned weekly at his press conferences. Which would be crazy to move on from a guy like that, but he’s there.“
Coach LaFleur’s position with the Packers has been questioned throughout the 2025 season.
But he has guided the franchise to the playoffs yet again with a second-placed finish in the NFC North.

The Packers have claimed nine wins, seven losses, and one tie this year.
This has secured their status as the last Wild Card franchise.
But they must now advance if LaFleur is to avoid mounting pressure.
The head coach faced significant calls to be fired following the Packers’ postseason exit last year.
They were knocked out by eventual Super Bowl LIX winners the Philadelphia Eagles.
