There is no denying that former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling loves seeing quarterback Aaron Rodgers play football. Even more, MVS enjoys playing alongside the future Pro Football Hall of Fame signal-caller.
With the chance to reunite on the field with Rodgers, Valdes-Scantling decided to sign with the Steelers’ practice squad before getting elevated to the team’s main roster. And on Monday, during a Week 15 matchup against the Miami Dolphins in Pittsburgh, the two former Packers players connected for a 19-yard touchdown in the third quarter, giving the Steelers a 14-3 lead over Tua Tagovailoa and company.
Former Packers WR appreciates Rodgers’ greatness after Week 15 Steelers-Dolphins game
Following the game, Valdes-Scantling shared a huge praise for Rodgers, who just turned 42 years old earlier this December.

Steelers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling was asked if Aaron Rodgers can still tap into some of his MVP-level performances of the past.
“I think he’s the best quarterback to ever play this game. If he’s 65 years old, he can still spin the ball.”
When the Steelers signed Rodgers to a one-year contract, they were clinging to the hope that they would be able to benefit from whatever greatness was left in him.
While Rodgers is no longer the quarterback he used to be during his prime years with Green Bay, the Steelers have been in much better shape with him under center than with the quarterbacks, particularly Russell Wilson and Kenny Pickett, they tried in previous seasons.
Against the Dolphins, Rodgers passed for 224 passing yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions on 23/37 completions in a 28-15 victory.
