🚨 INSIDE BLOCKBUSTER STIR: The Braves are suddenly being projected to land a jaw dropping $325 million superstar in a trade scenario that’s shaking up front office chatter across the league. What’s quietly fueling this prediction suggests Atlanta may be preparing for a bold, franchise defining swing that few fans saw coming this soon.

The Atlanta Braves were seemingly one of the best teams in the league coming into this season, but they struggled tremendously all year. The Braves came into the offseason desperately needing to make some big moves.

They recently agreed to a deal with infielder Ha-Seong Kim, but they could continue making moves to add talent in the coming months.

FanSided’s Christopher Kline predicted the Braves would swing a blockbuster trade for Texas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager this offseason.

Braves predicted to land $325 million superstar in blockbuster trade

“The Texas Rangers are listening on Corey Seager, who is due $186 million over the next six years,” Kline wrote. “That’s a lot of money for an early-30s shortstop, but Seager — an integral piece of Texas’ 2023 title run — can still hit 30 home runs and 40 doubles in a healthy season. He generates tons of hard contact and defends a premium position quite well.

“Are the Atlanta Braves really prepared to foot the bill on Seager’s contract? It wouldn’t be the most classically Alex Anthopoulos move, but the Braves need to turn their fortunes around and shortstop in the most glaring hole on the roster.”

Seager is one of the best middle infielders in baseball, and the Braves could make a big trade for him this offseason.

Seager’s contract is likely going to lessen his trade value, but it would still cost a few top names to land the star. The Braves certainly have the prospect capital to get a deal done. It would take their biggest weakness, shortstop, and turn it into one of their biggest strengths.
