San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey has been a workhorse this season, carrying the ball more times than other player in the NFL through 13 weeks while receiving over 100 targets in the passing game.
On Sunday against the Cleveland Browns at Huntington Bank Field, McCaffrey found the end zone for the eighth time this season and the 28th time since the 49ers traded for him back in 2022.

McCaffrey’s 28th touchdown with the 49ers broke a tie with Frankie Albert, who rushed for 27 touchdowns with San Francisco from 1946-52. The 29-year-old now has the eighth-most rushing touchdowns in franchise history.
While it would take an impressive effort over the team’s final four games of the season, McCaffrey could end up passing Hugh McElhenny (35) for seventh before the year’s over.
