The Green Bay Packers are heading to Week 14 riding a wave of momentum, having won all their last three outings.
That includes their huge 31-24 victory over the Detroit Lions at Ford Field in Detroit on Thanksgiving Day…..
More good news appears to be coming for Green Bay on the depth front, with rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden and wideout Jayden Reed considered possible to return from injuries in time to play for another big game this coming Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
Green Bay cuts rookie WR ahead of Week 14 clash against the Bears

Perhaps in anticipation of the returns of Golden and Reed, the Packers made the decision on Monday to part ways with rookie wide receiver Will Sheppard, the team announced via Green Bay’s official website .
The Green Bay Packers released WR Will Sheppard. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transaction Monday. Sheppard (6-3, 196), a rookie, joined the Packers in late July and spent the entire regular season on Green Bay’s practice squad before being signed to the active roster last Wednesday.
Sheppard went undrafted at the 2025 NFL Draft before being signed by Green Bay in July.
He was later released by the team via roster cuts but reunited with Green Bay via a practice squad deal. On Nov. 26, he was elevated to the active roster before the Lions game.
