🌪️ SHOCK POST‑INJURY: After Suffering Season‑Ending Ankle Blow, Packers’ Devonte Wyatt Drops Just 3 Words — And It’s Sending Shockwaves Through NFL Fanbase👇

The Green Bay Packers are on a roll, as they are on a three-game win streak. Their 31-24 Thanksgiving Day road game win over the Detroit Lions in Week 13 had Green Bay moving up to 8-3-1 overall so far in the 2025 NFL season.

However, Green Bay also saw one of its integral players on defense suffer a serious injury in the Lions game, as defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt was carted off the field late in the contest with a fractured ankle .

Considering the nature of his injury and how much time has elapsed in the 2025 NFL season, the expectation is that Wyatt has already played his last game in the campaign.

“It doesn’t look good,” Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur said of Wyatt’s injury following the Detroit game, per the Associated Press (h/t ESPN). “That’s a critical loss for our team and our defense.”

In any case, Wyatt is determined to get back on the field as soon as possible.

In a post on social media, Wyatt showed his positive outlook amid his injury.

“I’ll be back,” Wyatt wrote in a post on Instagram .

Before he was carted off, Wyatt, a product of the Georgia Bulldogs football program, recorded four total tackles. On the season, he has 27 total tackles to go with four sacks. He would have been on track to set a new single-season career high in sacks this season, but he will have to wait for 2026 to try and break his career-best 5.5 sacks that he set in the 2023 NFL campaign.
