Patrick Mahomes will be good to go for Thanksgiving Day.
There’s no need to worry about the status of the Kansas City Chiefs’ superstar QB to take on the Dallas Cowboys in the middle game on Thursday.
But he may be just a little injured.
Mahomes’ name was on the K.C. injury report this week, which is never something anyone wants to see, even if it’s small.

Is Patrick Mahomes injured?
Yes, technically, Patrick Mahomes is injured.
He’s on the Chiefs’ injury report heading into their Thanksgiving Day game against Dallas.
Mahomes is listed with a groin injury.
He was a full participant in practice each day, obviously not hampered by what appears to be an ailment he picked up during Week 12.

There likely would’ve been no holding Mahomes out for this Week 13 clash, not with the Chiefs sitting at just 6-5.
If he has to come out of the game at any point, his backup is the proven Gardner Minshew.
But that’d be worst-case scenario for the Chiefs, and it doesn’t seem it’ll come to that.
