Fans Convinced Taylor Swift Inspired Travis Kelce’s Outfit for Chiefs-Panthers

As Taylor Swift finished up her “Eras Tour” in Toronto, Canada, on Saturday evening, her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kanas City Chiefs made their way to Charlotte, North Carolina, to face the Carolina Panthers in Week 12 of the 2024 NFL season.

Swift, as she normally does for the Chiefs’ away games, did not make an appearance at Bank of America Stadium on Sunday. Still, the Chiefs bounced back from a Week 11 loss with a 30-27 victory to secure double-digit wins for the tenth consecutive season.

After the game, Kelce took to Instagram to share a post regarding the latest win. The post contained multiple photos of his pregame outfit, which included a plaid shirt, a white knit bucket hat, beige pants and sunglasses.

Swift has become well-known among Swifties for her plaid clothing throughout her lengthy, award-winning music career. This left many fans convinced that the “Bad Blood” singer had some inspiration in Kelce’s latest ensemble. They took to the comment section to leave their thoughts.

“Did Tay pick your outfit plaid?!” one fan asked.

“Plaid …. We see you Tay,” added another.

“Did Taylor tell you to wear plaid,” commented a third.

“did Taylor pick out this outfit!!!?” asked a fourth.

“taylor i understand you,” chimed in a fifth.

“killa thinks he’s slick for engaging in the swiftie madness with the plaid,” replied another.

Kelce finished the win over Carolina with six catches for 62 yards, including a 27-yard catch and run in the first quarter. He also moved into third place for most receiving yards by a tight end in NFL history with 11,897, passing former San Diego Chargers star Antonio Gates. (11,841).

Kansas City will return home in Week 13 to begin a two-game homestand at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. With Swift not performing again until Dec. 6 in Vancouver, we will likely see her make an appearance for the Chiefs’ next game on Nov. 29 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
