The Green Bay Packers continue to move forward, and in Week 12, Jordan Love and company took the Minnesota Vikings to the woodshed for a 23-6 drubbing at Lambeau Field.
With that win, Green Bay improved to 7-3-1 and helped ease the bitter taste of the team’s back-to-back losses at home to the Carolina Panthers and the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 9 and Week 10.
Green Bay relied mostly on its defense and rushing attack to secure the win over Minnesota, but wide receiver Christian Watson turned heads as well, as he led the Packers with 49 receiving yards on five catches and seven targets.

Although Green Bay’s passing attack was not able to fly as much, with Green opting to go more with its ground game, Watson had nothing but positive takeaways from the contest. In his eyes, a win is a win, which, at the end of the day, is all that matters in the NFL.
“You can’t complain about a win like that,” Watson said of Green Bay’s victory during a postgame interview on the field with Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network .
Added Watson: I think we were dominant in all phases today.”

Perhaps there will be more action through the air for Watson and the Packers in Week 13, when Green Bay visits the Detroit Lions at Ford Field in Detroit for another NFC North rivalry matchup.
So far in the 2025 NFL season, Watson has 283 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 17 receptions across five games.
