The San Francisco 49ers on Friday issued their official Week 11 injury report, which was uncharacteristically vacant for a 49ers club that has been ravaged by injury all season.
One of the biggest questions leading up to Week 11 was whether wide receiver Ricky Pearsall would return from the knee injury he sustained six weeks ago.

Here’s the latest on Pearsall:
Is Ricky Pearsall playing vs. the Arizona Cardinals?
Pearsall has been out since Week 4 with a knee injury that lingered longer than the team anticipated, but he was back in practice for all of Week 11 and off the injury report for Sunday’s game.
What did Kyle Shanahan say about Ricky Pearsall?
“I’m just happy those two have been back,” Shanahan said of Pearsall and quarterback Brock Purdy in a press conference after Friday’s practice. “We were hoping it would be faster with both of them, and it just took awhile. I don’t want to put a lot on them being out so long that they’re just gonna come back and be exactly where they left off, but they had a good week of practice and I’m just excited to get it started with them again.”

How does Ricky Pearsall help the 49ers?
Pearsall gives the 49ers their No. 1 wide receiver back. Even after missing the last six games he’s still the No. 2 wide receiver on the team behind Kendrick Bourne who amassed nearly all of his production across Weeks 5 and 6 when he hung up 284 of his 482 receiving yards.
More important than the production is where Pearsall can be productive. He’s very good at getting open in the middle of the field where Purdy has his most success. Pearsall is also a capable vertical field stretcher which should open some of the downfield passing the 49ers have missed with him out.
Which WR loses out with Ricky Pearsall’s return?
There’ll be a domino effect for the 49ers’ receiving corps that starts with Bourne, who is now pushed into a No. 3 WR role and veteran Demarcus Robinson is moved into a fourth WR role. Skyy Moore and rookie Jordan Watkins will also lose the handful of snaps they got each week.
