🔥 INSIDER BUZZ ERUPTS: Red Sox Receive a Major Boost as Agent Alex Boras Delivers a Promising Update on the Fifty Three Million Dollar Five Time All Star — A Momentum Shifting Signal That Boston Could Be Closing In on the Game Changing Veteran Fans Have Been Begging For All Winter.

One of the Boston Red Sox’ main goals this offseason is to find another slugger to bring up their home runs and RBI. Luckily for them, there’s a perfect player on the market, and he could be open to signing with the Sox due to a connection.

That player is five-time All-Star Pete Alonso, and that connection is his agent Scott Boras, who is also Red Sox superstar Alex Bregman’s agent. Boras revealed that Alonso is willing to be flexible as long as he’s playing on a winning team.

“Pete at this point is about winning, no doubt,” Boras said. “[Teams inquiring about Alonso] all talk about his durability. He’s a guy that really has a nature about him where it’s just his duty, no matter how he feels or what he does, to be on the field,” (via Tim Healey).

This past season, Alonso slashed .272/.347/.524/.871 with 41 doubles, 38 home runs, and 126 RBI in 162 games played. He would become the heart of the offense and definitely take it to the next level.

If the Sox can re-sign Bregman, it may make Boras more likely to push Alonso in their direction. Getting both would anchor the corners of the infield and definitely make them a couple of steps closer to being a favorite for the 2026 World Series.

Hopefully, the Sox get to work re-signing Bregman and then put all their effort into signing Alonso. Then, all they need to do is make a trade for another starting pitcher, and it could be smooth sailing into October of 2026.
