The San Francisco 49ers have had a rocky season and are dealing with several injuries on both sides of the ball as they head into a brutal stretch of their schedule.

Amidst all the ups and downs, general manager John Lynch found time to take in one of the biggest college football games of the season.

Lynch was spotted at the Ohio State vs. Indiana game in Columbus, Ohio.

He clearly already has his sights set on a few prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Lynch played his college ball at Stanford, so it’s not as if this is a sentimental trip for him, and he’s clearly here for business.

Multiple Niners reps were at the game alongside Lynch, and the Niners were far from the only team with scouts and executives in the building.

Nearly a third of the league has been confirmed to be in attendance for the Big Ten battle.

Ohio State is 9-1 and ranked No. 2 in the country, while Indiana is 10-0 and ranked No. 5.

It’s Indiana’s first 10-win season, and the Hoosiers are looking for a statement win to solidify an unlikely playoff bid.

Both sides have plenty of prospects who will generate plenty of interest come draft time, and Lynch is one of the best in the business at finding such players.

It should be a quick trip for Lynch before heading to Wisconsin, where his Niners will take on the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.
