ATLANTA — It’s never too early to be thinking about baseball season! The Atlanta Braves announced its 2026 spring training schedule on Wednesday.
Here is everything you need to know about spring training at CoolToday Park early next year:
- Location & Duration:
- Seventh spring training at CoolToday Park in North Port, Florida
- 16 home games
- 31 total exhibition games
- Schedule Highlights:
- Opener: Saturday, February 21 – road game vs. Tampa Bay Rays
- First home game: Sunday, February 22 – vs. Minnesota Twins
- Braves will host nine different MLB teams, with multiple games against the Red Sox, Twins, Pirates, and Rays
- Special exhibition: vs. Team Colombia on Wednesday, March 4, ahead of the 2026 World Baseball Classic
- Prospect game: Braves’ top prospects face Yankees’ prospects on March 21 at George M. Steinbrenner Field for MLB’s Spring Breakout event
- Final spring game: Tuesday, March 24 vs. Tampa Bay Rays
- Braves will then return to Truist Park for Opening Day vs. Kansas City Royals later that week
