Taylor Swift spent her weekend out of the spotlight but reemerged on Monday for an evening out with friend Gigi Hadid.

The singer leaned into seasonal style, wearing two timeless fall trends: a plaid skirt and a peacoat.

The two stars coordinated in dark looks for dinner at Zero Bond in New York City.

Swift chose an oversize wool coat from Auter, pairing it with a matching top and a navy plaid miniskirt.

She accessorized with a snakeskin purse and knee-high boots from Stella McCartney, a Selim Mouzannar necklace, and her cushion-cut diamond engagement ring.

Hadid wore a purple print top with leather pants and a longer dark coat, with her blonde hair up.

Swift and Hadid don’t often have public girls’ nights out, but they spend plenty of time together in private.

The pair has been close for over a decade and were first photographed together in 2014.

Back in 2017, Swift praised Hadid for her emotional intelligence.

‘As a friend, Gigi is one of the first people I go to for advice,’ the singer told Harper’s Bazaar. ‘She has this incredible ability to see all sides of a situation and simplify it for you, to see the complexity of people.’

‘Gigi’s No. 1 rule is to treat people the way she’d want to be treated, so she’s on time (or early) to work, says hello to everyone on set, asks them how they are, and actually listens to their response,’ she added.

In May 2024, a source spoke to Entertainment Tonight about Hadid and Swift’s decade-long friendship and how much they enjoy going on double dates with their partners: Swift’s fiancé, Travis Kelce, and Hadid’s boyfriend of two years, Bradley Cooper.

‘Taylor, Travis, Gigi, and Bradley have a blast when they get together,’ the insider said. ‘They appreciate that they can all be themselves around each other and enjoy double dating and spending time with each other.’
