Dak Prescott and his wife Sarah Jane Ramos are one of the NFL’s favorite couples – and it turns out that their love story began in a rather unique way
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos have become one of the NFL’s most beloved couples — and now fans have learned exactly how their romance kicked off.
Ramos recently spilled the beans on Instagram about how it all began with a cheeky line from Prescott that shattered the ice in spectacular style, with the pair first being photographed together back in 2023.
During an Instagram stories Q&A, Ramos was quizzed about how she met the Cowboys signal-caller, who stirred up drama in the offseason with a comment about championships.

She shared that the duo initially met “in Miami at a party during a holiday weekend and danced the night away.” She then disclosed Prescott’s opening words to her: “Tu Booty Es Fantastic @Blessed.”
The cheeky pickup line ignited immediate sparks between the pair, who started dating in September 2023. Back then, Ramos posted a snapshot from a Cowboys game sporting a jacket with Prescott’s number, which immediately triggered dating speculation.
Within twelve months, they were betrothed and have since become parents to two daughters.
Prescott popped the question in October 2024 during a golf trip, months after the couple welcomed their firstborn, Margaret Jane “MJ” Rose, in February. Chatting with ‘People’ magazine earlier this year, Prescott revealed that becoming a father transformed his outlook.
“When you wake up in the morning and you see that baby, you understand responsibilities,” Prescott said. “Everything that I’ve always wanted for myself, you want that for somebody else even more.”
Ramos has frequently expressed her admiration for Prescott’s parenting skills. Following the announcement of her second pregnancy last fall, she gushed, “I can’t wait to watch Dak become a girl dad, part two. He’s perfect. He’s the best girl dad ever.”
The pair celebrated the arrival of their second daughter, Aurora Rayne, in May. Ramos shared on Instagram, “Our sweet Aurora Rayne Prescott arrived on her due date 9 days ago, 5.22.25. We’ve been soaking it all in – so beyond grateful and in love with our family of four.”
Currently, with two little girls at home, the Cowboys quarterback is juggling parenthood alongside his quest for a Super Bowl championship.
