DODGER LEGEND FAREWELL: $6M veteran teeters on the edge of retirement, whispers suggest his final curtain call at Dodger Stadium has already unfolded, fans stunned as memories of clutch plays and iconic moments collide in a tearful goodbye — the end of an era looms over LA.

Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw Targets Return Date After Dominant Rehab Bid - Yahoo Sports

The Los Angeles Dodgers wrapped up their home stint on Wednesday with a loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. Now, there’s no room for mistakes — another loss would mean the end of the line for them. Losing Game 4, especially after the gut punch the Blue Jays suffered in Game 3, was shocking. Superstar Shohei Ohtani was full of regret following the game.

“My goal is to be able to pitch six innings, and the situation in this game I wanted to go seven. It was regrettable that I wasn’t able to finish that inning,” Ohtani told the media following the game.

After the loss, all eyes turned to Clayton Kershaw, as it marked his final career game at Dodger Stadium. Cameras also caught Miguel Rojas being the last player to leave the dugout — a moment that could signal it was his final game there as well.

“Miguel Rojas stayed in the Dodgers dugout for a few minutes after the Dodgers game 5 loss. He was the last Dodger to leave the dugout,” Dodger Nation’s Doug McKain wrote.

It was an interesting moment for Rojas, who has already made it clear that he plans to retire after the 2026 season.

“I’m 36 years old. It’s been a wild ride. I’ve given it everything I’ve had in my four years here. Hopefully, I can finish my career here. Because I’m going to retire after next year,” Rojas told McKain after winning the NLDS.

This could mean one of three things: the loss to the Blue Jays may have left a haunting feeling; Rojas knows that was his last game at Dodger Stadium and the team won’t bring him back; or he’s decided to call it a career a year earlier than expected.

Whichever it is, Rojas has given everything to the Dodgers and left his mark both on and off the field.
