White Sox Reacts Survey: Goodbye, Edgar?

Our latest Reacts survey asked a daunting question, with many holes to fill and just one true strength on the club: Should the White Sox trade a catcher this offseason?

The answer was a split decision, with nearly half of you saying: NO. Those who forced themselves to pay along overwhelmingly chose Edgar Quero, not Kyle Teel, as the catcher sent packing:

While Teel demonstrated much better slugging, speed and overall offensive performance, he also found the backstop position … challenging. Knowing that GMs are going to come after Chicago’s young catching duo this offseason, it will be interesting to see whether Chris Getz cashes in one of his catcher chips.

We had three national questions this week, starting with one that might already be looking stale: a slight majority of readers imagine L.A. will repeat as World Series champs:

Next up, a question that revealed a deep conflict among fans: “Knowing” the Dodgers will win the World Series but rooting like hell that the Blue Jays emerge victorious:

And finally, we turn to the remaining managerial slots open:

The Twins and the Rockies both as completely undesirable jobs? Hey, that’s a sneak preview of 2026’s two worst clubs, so it checks out.
