The New York Jets and Packers could be perfect trade partners, as the NFL trade deadline approaches.
“If there’s one thing for certain,” a league source tells Between The Hashmarks. “The Jets are the worst team in football. I can’t think of any reason they’d be trading, unless they were selling everything off.”

As the trade deadline nears, and the Jets continue to search for their first win of the season, a fire sale could be coming, and the Packers could be a team that benefits, especially if general manager Brian Gutekunst is looking to add to a roster that appears capable of making a legitimate Super Bowl run.
Could the Packers trade for Jets RB Breece Hall?

There is a feeling among several agents inside the league that star players on the final year of their contract could be the players most likely to be traded ahead of the November 3 trade deadline.
One such player is Jets running back Breece Hall, and The Leap’s Peter Bukowski suggests Hall could be a perfect fit for the Packers.
“I’m with the injuries to [2024 third round pick] MarShawn Lloyd,” Bukowski posted on Tuesday, “I would at least call on Hall to see what it would cost.”
Hall would be an ideal complementary back alongside Jacobs, and this is the type of trade that could both maximize the impact of each back, but also keep them healthy for the stretch run and the playoffs.
So far this season, Hall has rushed for 448 yards but is still in search of his first touchdown of the 2025 campaign, while playing on an offense that has struggled mightily consistently moving the football.
Hall is a violent downhill runner, and former second-round draft choice, who has logged 611 carries for 2,781 yards, and 14 touchdowns through his first three-plus seasons.
If Gutekunst is looking to upgrade over Lloyd, and aiming to form a potentially explosive backfield duo, a deal with the Jets could be the kind of trade that moves the needle and moves Green Bay closer to winning the Lombardi.
